This 2-day desert adventure begins in Ouarzazate, with a scenic drive through the palm-filled Draa Valley and ancient kasbahs, heading towards the towering dunes of Erg Chegaga. After lunch in M’Hamid, the gateway to the Sahara, the journey continues off-road into the desert. At Erg Chegaga, you’ll settle into a traditional tent, enjoy a camel ride at sunset, and dine under the stars by the campfire. The next morning starts with a breathtaking sunrise and breakfast, followed by a return to Ouarzazate via the dry Lake Iriqui and the village of Foum Zguid. A stop in Taznakht includes lunch and the option to visit a local women’s carpet weaving cooperative before arriving back in Ouarzazate by late afternoon.
